Rosatom Chief: Rebar work, concreting at Bushehr NPP Unit 2 resumed

Tehran - BORNA - Rosatom Chief Alexei Likhachev emphasized: "Until the situation surrounding Iran becomes completely clear, Rosatom does not have the right to make a decision on the full return of Russian personnel to the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant."

The Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, located in southern Iran, was targeted several times during the aggressive attacks by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran; however, the plant's reactor sustained no damage.

Likhachev further referred to the conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, stating: "The escalation of the situation in the area of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant will be the main topic of the upcoming negotiations between Russia and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)."

He added: "The IAEA Secretariat practically ignores the daily attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the killing of Russian citizens by Ukrainian forces."
