Chinese envoy to Iran: Beijing's support for Iran is explicit and unconditional
The Chinese Ambassador to Tehran emphasized that Beijing is ready to play its role in supporting the Iranian side not only in bilateral relations but also on the international stage to defend justice, stating: "It is during these difficult times that we recognize our true friends."

Tehran - BORNA - Mohammad Ali Amani, the Secretary-General of Iran's Islamic Coalition Party, and Zong Peiwu, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Tehran, met to discuss the latest regional developments, Iran's resistance against recent aggression, the horizons of post-war cooperation, and the facilitation of travel for businessmen and tourists.

Expressing his satisfaction with the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador to Tehran asserted: "China's support for Iran is explicit and unconditional."

Referring to Chinese President Xi Jinping's four-point proposal for global peace and stability, Zong Peiwu emphasized adherence to peace, respect for international law, and confronting hegemony.

The Chinese envoy added: "It is during these difficult times that we recognize our true friends. We are ready to play our role in the reconstruction of the Iranian side—not only in bilateral communications but also on the international stage to defend justice."

Highlighting the special interest of the Chinese public in Iran, Zong Peiwu noted: "We have so far delivered 58 tons of medicine to the Iranian side. This year marks the first year of China's 15th Five-Year Plan, and with a 5% economic growth rate, we hold the highest index in the world."

In response to a request for travel facilitation, the ambassador stated: "Regarding visas, we will follow up to make the process simpler."

In another part of his remarks, the Chinese diplomat pointed out: "There is still a distance until the end of this war, but these very challenges have provided an opportunity to increase the political mutual trust between the two countries. We consider strengthening this trust a priority."

During the meeting, the Secretary-General of the Islamic Coalition Party outlined his letter to the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China, emphasizing: "In the eyes of the Iranian nation, Donald Trump is a war criminal whose hands are stained with the blood of our martyred leader, General Soleimani, as well as our commanders and nuclear scientists. Iran insists on its right to retaliation, receiving compensation for the economic war, and ensuring the security of the Strait of Hormuz."

He added: "The era of relying on Western promises has come to an end, and we expect China, as a strategic partner, to stand against U.S. unilateralism."

Regarding the importance of the post-war era, Amani stated: "The greatest bridge of friendship between the two nations is facilitating the travel of businessmen, traders, and tourists. We propose the abolition of group visas, the creation of a green customs corridor, and the development of tourism. The Iranian people are ready to extend a warm welcome to every Chinese tourist."
