Pakistani Army Chief holds hours-long talks with Iran FM
The Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, Asim Munir, met and held extensive consultations with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Friday.

Tehran - BORNA - Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, who has traveled to Tehran to conduct high-level consultations and exchange views with officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, met and conversed with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi yesterday.

During the meeting, which continued late into the night, the two sides exchanged views on the latest diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at preventing further escalation of tensions and terminating the war imposed by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran. They also discussed mechanisms to strengthen peace, stability, and security in the West Asia region.
