Gharibabadi: Iran pursues powerful peace-seeking, dignified diplomacy
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs, Kazem Gharibabadi, stated that the country pursues the logic of powerful peace-seeking, dignified diplomacy, and the decisive defense of national independence and public rights.

Tehran - BORNA - In a post on his X account marking the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr on May 24, the senior diplomat wrote:

"May 24 (Khordad 3rd), the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr, recalls an enduring truth in Iran’s history; a truth that is also intertwined with the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter: a nation that falls victim to aggression and occupation possesses an inherent right to self-defense to safeguard its territory, independence, and dignity.

Khorramshahr is a symbol of the victory of national will over an aggression that was initiated through the calculations of the aggressor's supporting powers, yet failed against the faith, resistance, and self-reliance of the great Iranian nation.

Today, Iran continues to pursue that very same logic: powerful peace-seeking, dignified diplomacy, and the decisive defense of the territorial integrity, independence, and rights of our people and our beloved country, Iran."
