Gharibabadi: IRGC’s Reprisal Reflects Armed Forces’ Full Readiness Against US Mischief
Tehran - BORNA - Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a commemoration ceremony for the late Lieutenant General Mohammad Pakpour, Gharibabadi emphasized that the trajectory of strengthening the country's defensive capabilities will proceed with unwavering resolve. He noted that today, more than ever, Iran requires power and authority to stand firm against its adversaries.
The deputy foreign minister added that this power is most tangibly visible in the military sector, while noting that national unity and cohesion play an equally vital role in reinforcing this authority. He warned that adversaries must understand that the Islamic Republic of Iran will show a fitting and proportionate reaction to any hostile actions, repeated threats, or audacity.
Addressing the military escalations of the previous night, Gharibabadi asserted that the response delivered by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) to the actions and mischief of the Americans clearly demonstrates the comprehensive readiness of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He warned that should these hostile actions persist, the Islamic Republic of Iran will react accordingly.
Gharibabadi also pointed to the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz, declaring that the exercise of the Islamic Republic of Iran's sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is a highly pivotal matter. He concluded by stressing that Tehran will not permit adversaries to cause any disruption along this critical maritime route through military actions or threatening behavior.
