Iranian Greco-Roman Wrestling Selection Leaves for Ulaanbaatar Ranking Series
A selected squad of six Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers has departed for Mongolia to compete in the upcoming United World Wrestling (UWW) Ranking Series.

Tehran - BORNA - The highly anticipated UWW Greco-Roman Wrestling Ranking Series is scheduled to take place on June 4 and 5 in the Mongolian capital of Ulaanbaatar. To participate in this international tournament, the selected Iranian delegation officially left Tehran for Mongolia this morning.

The Iranian national coaching staff has finalized a six-man roster across four distinct weight categories to represent the country in Ulaanbaatar. In the light flyweight division, Payam Ahmadi will contest the 55 kg category, while Ali Ahmadi Vafa has been selected to represent Iran in the 60 kg division.

Furthermore, Iran will field a dual entry in the 63 kg weight class, with both Mohammad Mahdi Keshtkar and Erfan Jarkani cleared to compete against the international field. The team has deployed another dual selection in the 72 kg division, where the experienced Danial Sohrabi will join Mohammad Javad Rezaei on the mats to complete the Islamic Republic's campaign in Mongolia.
