Pakistan's Interior Minister arrives in Tehran for martyred leader's funeral
Tehran - BORNA - Syed Mohsin Naqvi, Pakistan's Interior Minister, arrived in Tehran on Friday morning and was welcomed by Eskandar Momeni, Iran's Interior Minister.
Upon arrival, Naqvi said: "Iran is our second home, and I have come to Tehran to participate in the funeral ceremony of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution."
He added that another delegation, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief Field Marshal Asim Munir, will also travel to Iran for the ceremony.
Iran's Interior Minister Momeni welcomed his Pakistani counterpart and said that various delegations at the level of presidents, prime ministers, ministers, and prominent political, religious, and social figures from around the world will come to Iran to pay tribute to the martyred leader.
