Iran’s Foreign Minister Reaffirms Tehran’s Full Readiness to Implement Yemen Peace Roadmap

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi reaffirmed Iran's commitment to leveraging all diplomatic capacities to lift the blockade on Yemen and ensure the full implementation of the country's peace roadmap.

Tehran - BORNA - Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a bilateral meeting on Saturday with Major General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, the Deputy Prime Minister of Yemen.

The senior Yemeni official traveled to Tehran heading a high-level delegation to participate in the official tribute and memorial ceremonies dedicated to honoring the late martyred Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

During the talks, Major General Al-Ruwaishan extended the deep condolences of the Yemeni government and people over the martyrdom of Grand Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei to Iran's new leadership, government, and nation.

The Yemeni Deputy Prime Minister also congratulated the Iranian people on what he described as a historic victory in standing firm against the military aggression launched by the United States and the Zionist regime, as well as Tehran's subsequent achievements on the diplomatic front.

The Iranian foreign minister expressed his profound appreciation for the brave and honorable stances of the Yemeni government and nation. He commended their definitive condemnation of the US-Zionist military strikes against Iran and their unwavering solidarity with the Iranian people.

Araghchi strongly emphasized the Islamic Republic's readiness to utilize all available diplomatic channels and regional frameworks to lift the economic blockade on Yemen and facilitate the comprehensive implementation of the Yemeni peace roadmap.
