Pezeshkian: Iran Will Firmly Defend Its Rights Against US Bullying
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has criticized the United States' behavior as a World Cup host, drawing a parallel with its foreign policy. He described Washington’s approach as one rooted in lawbreaking, bullying, and creating obstacles for competitors, asserting that Iran will not accept such tactics.
Tehran - BORNA - Pezeshkian published a message in English on his X social media account, stating: "The US government's behavior as a World Cup host is a continuation of its usual foreign policy: breaking rules, bullying competitors, creating obstacles, and cheating. This is their MAGA style."
The President emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not tolerate these actions, concluding firmly: "Iran does not accept such games. We will decisively defend our rights."
