IRGC hits US ammunition depots, satellite center, and barracks in Bahrain in second wave of Operation Nasr
Tehran - BORNA - The IRGC stated that the strikes were carried out in response to US airstrikes on coastal stations and military facilities in southern Iran. The IRGC Navy targeted the facilities at the Jufair base in Bahrain with missiles and drones.
In a separate operation, the IRGC also destroyed a Patriot radar, an air control radar of the US Fifth Fleet, and a C-RAM early warning radar system. The strikes also set fire to fuel tanks and completely destroyed a control and monitoring center for unmanned vessels.
The IRGC also announced that two supertankers that had ignored repeated warnings from the Strait of Hormuz Security Control Center were struck and disabled. The tankers had turned off their navigation systems and attempted to pass through a mined route after being encouraged by US forces.
In a message to the Jordanian people, the IRGC stated that it had targeted a US base in Jordan that had been used for attacks against Iran. The statement expressed solidarity with the Jordanian people and called on them to demand the removal of US bases from their country.
