The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy announced that four violating vessels, backed by US, attempted to disrupt and exit the Strait of Hormuz through an unsafe route. Two of the vessels were hit and stopped, while the other two abandoned their course.

Tehran - BORNA - The full text of the IRGC Navy statement is as follows:

"Hours ago, four violating vessels, with the mischief and support of American terrorists, turned off their navigation systems and ignored warnings from the IRGC Navy's Strait of Hormuz control base, attempting to disrupt and exit the strait through an unsafe route. Two of the vessels were hit and stopped in their tracks, while the other two abandoned their course.

The IRGC Navy declares that it has full control over the Strait of Hormuz, and the only safe passage is the designated and announced route. Not a single drop of oil, gas, or chemical fertilizer will pass through the Strait of Hormuz without coordination and permission, as previously stated.

Vessels that fall under the influence of American enemy propaganda and enter the unsafe route will certainly face incidents."
