Yemeni Attacks Disrupt Saudi Flights, Set Facilities Ablaze

Tehran - BORNA - According to media reports, the operations came in direct response to recent Saudi strikes on Yemeni territory, including the port city and airport of Hodeidah.

Saudi Civil Defense activated emergency warning systems in Jazan and Yanbu, advising residents to exercise caution amid reported explosions. Heavy blasts were heard across Yanbu and Khamis Mushait.

In Jazan province, initial reports indicate a strike on an Aramco oil refinery located within the city's industrial zone. Satellite imagery published by NASA confirmed active fires at the refining facility, while local media reported power outages across parts of Jazan following the strikes.

The attacks caused widespread disruptions to commercial air travel, leading to the temporary suspension of flights at airports in Jeddah, Riyadh, Jazan, and Yanbu.

Reporting from Yemen, Iraq's Al-Ahad TV correspondent described the offensive as an unprecedented, joint missile and drone operation that marks the most intense response by Yemeni forces since the onset of the military conflict.

The escalations follow repeated warnings from Yemeni officials. Prior to the strikes, Nasruddin Amer, a member of the Ansarullah political council, directed a warning to Saudi leadership, stating: "Erase the scale and level of previous attacks from your minds; this time, the situation is completely different."
