Leader Reaffirms Iran's Strategic Support for Lebanese Resistance Fighters

Tehran - BORNA - The Leader stated that the Islamic Republic of Iran has made the preservation of Lebanon's territorial integrity and the complete, unconditional cessation of the Zionist regime's aggression the primary condition in any agreement to conclude the imposed war with the aggressive U.S. administration.

Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei made the remarks in response to a letter of allegiance and loyalty from Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary-General of Hezbollah, along with the faithful and brave commanders and fighters of the movement.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

"O you who have believed, fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you harshness..." [Qur'an 9:123]

To Hojjatoleslam val-Muslimeen Sheikh Naim Qassem (May his honor endure),

Honorable Secretary-General of Hezbollah Lebanon, and all steadfast, patient, and brave commanders and fighters of Hezbollah,

Peace and Allah’s mercy and blessings be upon you all.

The letter from you—my brothers and sons, the faithful and courageous fighters of the proud Hezbollah—carrying a message of steadfastness and perseverance for the elevation of Allah's word, trust in the promises of the Holy Qur'an, and adherence to the dignity-bestowing ideals of Imam Khomeini and the martyr leader, Grand Ayatollah Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with them both), is deeply appreciated and honored.

Today, as the nations of the world grow weary of the oppression and cruelty of the U.S. government and the criminal Zionists who destroy crops and lineages, no path remains except jihad and resistance. Perseverance along this path will earn the promised divine victory for those fighting for truth: "...and it was ever an obligation upon Us to help the believers" [Qur'an 30:47].

Now that Hezbollah in Lebanon stands like a solid rock as the vanguard of jihadist groups against the savage aggression of the Zionist regime and its supporters, this steadfastness has become an inspiring message for the free nations of the world seeking liberation from the oppression of global arrogance and its proxies. Undoubtedly, a significant portion of this great achievement is owed to the patience, nobility, sacrifice, and solidarity of the people of Lebanon, particularly those in the southern region.

In line with the strategic policy established by the martyr leader of the Revolution, Imam Seyed Ali Khamenei (may Allah be pleased with him), the Islamic Republic of Iran considers defending these oppressed yet powerful resistance fighters as its strategic policy. Iran has designated the preservation of Lebanon's territorial integrity and the complete, unconditional end to the Zionist regime's aggression as the first condition of any agreement to end the war imposed by the aggressive United States.

May Allah’s blessings and mercy be upon the martyrs, the wounded, their patient families, and those displaced in the cause of Allah who bore hardships gracefully. May Allah's peace be upon the pure soul of the Master of Resistance Martyrs, Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, all preceding resistance commanders, and his martyred companions (may Allah be pleased with them all), who transformed the sapling of Islamic resistance into a firm tree whose roots are firmly fixed and whose branches reach the heavens—fighters whose jihad and resistance brought dignity and pride to Lebanon within the Islamic world.

In conclusion, I hope that through the prayers of our Master [Imam Mahdi] (may Allah hasten his reappearance), divine grace and blessings encompass all resistance fighters, martyrs, veterans, displaced persons, and their patient families.

"And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors" [Qur'an 28:5].
