Persian Gulf authority: Strait of Hormuz closed due to US aggression
The official Persian Gulf Waterway Management Authority reiterated Friday that transit through the Strait of Hormuz remains impossible due to ongoing U.S. aggression in the region.
Tehran - BORNA - The authority posted a statement on X addressing recurring inquiries: "Due to continued aggressive actions by U.S. military forces in the region, transit through the Strait of Hormuz is not possible. As soon as stability and calm are restored, all requests will be reviewed in order of submission, and permits will be issued progressively."
