Iranian FM consults Pakistani army chief, Turkish counterpart on regional security
Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi held separate telephone conversations with Pakistan’s army chief and Turkey’s foreign minister to discuss regional developments and rising tensions, local media reported Saturday.
Tehran - BORNA - Araghchi spoke with Field Marshal Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff of Pakistan, and Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, addressing the consequences of aggressive and destabilizing actions by the United States and the risk of escalating insecurity across the region.
During the calls, Iran’s foreign minister warned against any adventurous measures by the U.S. military, emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran's full readiness to safeguard its national sovereignty, territorial integrity, and security.
Araghchi reaffirmed that Iran stands prepared to deliver a decisive response to any acts of aggression.
