Iran, Armenia Discuss Initiative to Build Second Bridge over Aras River
Iran's Ambassador to Armenia has met with Armenia's Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure to discuss the initiative for constructing a second bridge over the Aras River along the two countries' shared border.
Tehran - BORNA - In the meeting held in Yerevan, Khalil Shirgholami, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia, and Kristine Ghalechyan, Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Armenia, discussed the progress of joint infrastructure projects.
The initiative to build a second bridge over the Aras River at the Iran-Armenia state border was reviewed during the talks.
The two sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest and ways to expand cooperation in the infrastructure sector.
