Iranian President Leaves Bishkek for Tehran After SCO Summit

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian departed the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek for Tehran on Tuesday following the conclusion of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and SCO Plus Summit.

Tehran - BORNA - Pezeshkian was seen off at the airport by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan.

During his two-day visit, the Iranian president delivered an address at the summit outlining Iran's foreign policy priorities and positions on key regional and international issues.

On the sidelines of the summit, Pezeshkian held high-level bilateral meetings with the leaders of China, Russia, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as the prime ministers of India and Pakistan. He also met with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres to discuss pressing global concerns.
