IRGC strikes US remotely operated vessel in Strait of Hormuz

Tehran - BORNA - The IRGC said in its 11th statement that the vessel was targeted by its Navy.

“The heroic Navy of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps targeted a remotely operated vessel belonging to the terrorist US military as it attempted to enter the protected area of the Strait of Hormuz,” the statement said.

The IRGC added that its naval forces are monitoring what it described as hostile movements in the area and would respond decisively to any further attempts.

“Any desperate move by the enemy is under the surveillance of the courageous and self-sacrificing personnel of the IRGC Navy and will be decisively targeted,” the statement said.

It also stressed that the strategic waterway is under Iranian management.

“The Strait of Hormuz, this strategic waterway, is under the management of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and any move by the child-killing enemy will be met with a decisive response.”

The IRGC concluded by warning Washington that it had “no option but to leave the region and abandon its hostile actions.”
