Pezeshkian: Iran opposes war but will defend itself 'with full force'
The Iranian President emphasized that Iran has always opposed war and views the protection of people's interests and regional security as lying in refraining from provocation — but just as it has bravely defended itself against aggression to this day, it will continue resistance with full force until the aggressors are completely regretful.
Tehran - BORNA - Masoud Pezeshkian, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, reacted to recent claims by US President Donald Trump in a post on his X account, writing:
"The Islamic Republic of Iran has always opposed war and views the protection of people's interests and regional security as lying in refraining from provocation. But just as it has bravely risen to defend itself against aggression to this day, it will continue this resistance with full force until the aggressors are completely regretful, and will remain the guardian of the rights of the great Iranian nation."
