IRGC Statement No. 15: Two US vessels, 8 tankers, 10 violating ships targeted in Strait of Hormuz

Tehran - BORNA -  IRGC Statement No. 15 reads as follows:

"In the Name of God, the Breaker of the Tyrants

'So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same manner as he has assaulted you.' [Quran 2:194]

To the faithful and epic-making people of Islamic Iran —

May God's peace and mercy be upon you, who by remaining in the field for approximately one hundred and ninety days and nights, have demonstrated the true meaning of insight and steadfastness.

Your courageous sons in the IRGC Navy, while continuing to exercise full control over the Strait of Hormuz, continue to safeguard the trust of you, the faithful and vigilant nation of Islamic Iran.

The heroic IRGC Navy, in response to the aggression and mischief of the terrorist US army in attacking five Iranian tankers in the ever-Persian Gulf, targeted two US vessels and eight tankers in the region, inflicting heavy damage on them.

Additionally, ten violating ships, which — instigated and supported by the aggressive US terrorist army — were attempting to pass through the prohibited and unsafe zone of the Strait of Hormuz, were also targeted.

The Strait of Hormuz remains firmly and authoritatively under the surveillance and management of the capable and valorous IRGC Navy.

And victory comes only from God, the Almighty, the All-Wise."
