Pezeshkian: Strait of Hormuz will reopen if US ends blockade and aggression

Tehran - BORNA - In an interview with India Today on Saturday morning local time, Pezeshkian addressed the continuation of the US naval blockade, saying: "They could not achieve their goals through war, so they resorted to this, but we will not be stopped. The sea route is not the path on which our life depends, but they will not succeed in this approach either."

On the agreement between Iran and Oman, the president said: "On Monday this week, the foreign ministers of Arab countries will meet in Muscat so that the Oman-Iran agreement on a shared route in the Strait of Hormuz can be signed in their presence and announced to the International Maritime Organization. The very countries from whose soil we were attacked are present at this meeting."

He emphasized that the strait route will reopen provided the US ends its blockade and aggression against Iran.
