Iranian women para-shooters win gold, set world record at World Championships
Iran's women's 10m air pistol team has won gold and set a new world record at the World Para Shooting Championships in South Korea.
Tehran - BORNA - The Iranian team, consisting of Sareh Javanmardi, Faezeh Ahmadi and Nasrin Shahi, scored 1,707 points on Saturday to claim the title and register the world record in the event.
The championships are being held in South Korea with 595 athletes from 53 countries competing.
Iran's national para-shooting team is led by head coach Fathollah Delfani Khan, with coaches Zeinab Amini Tabar and Zahra Ahmadi, and team manager Mozhgan Nasiri.
The World Para Shooting Championships continue in South Korea until September 17.
