Pezeshkian to travel to New York for UN General Assembly

Tehran - BORNA - During the visit, Pezeshkian will deliver a speech at the General Assembly and hold meetings with leaders and officials of several countries on the sidelines of the session.

No visas have been issued this year to any member of the president's media team — a move which reflects an all-out effort by US officials to silence the voice of truth and prevent the exposure of their crimes against the Iranian people.

The 81st session of the UN General Assembly will be held from September 22 to 29, 2026 at the United Nations headquarters in New York. The General Assembly is the UN's most important multilateral gathering, providing an opportunity for dialogue and decision-making on global issues and coordination among member states.
