Iran-Turkmenistan cooperation to expand based on kinship ties: Pezeshkian
Tehran - BORNA - In an official message addressed to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the National Leader of the Turkmen People and Chairman of the People's Council (Halk Maslahaty) of Turkmenistan, Pezeshkian noted that Tehran and Ashgabat have consistently maintained fruitful cooperation grounded in goodwill and shared strategic priorities. The president expressed certainty that this partnership, anchored in enduring familial and cultural ties, will further expand to serve the long-term interests of both nations.
In a separate message to Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Pezeshkian emphasized that deep-seated historical, religious, and civilizational bonds, alongside a shared frontier of peace and friendship, provide a solid foundation for advancing multifaceted collaboration between the two neighboring states. He reiterated his firm belief that these enduring affinities will continue to facilitate the broadening of bilateral ties in the years ahead.
