Iran, Resistance fighters to deliver devastating response to any threat: Maj. Gen. Abdollahi
Tehran - BORNA - In a message marking the second anniversary of the martyrdom of Hezbollah Secretary-General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, Major General Ali Abdollahi highlighted the enduring legacy of the late resistance leader and the failure of US-Israeli military calculations in the region.
"Two years after the brutal crime of the demonic Zionist regime in assassinating the brave and historic Secretary-General of Lebanon's Hezbollah, the transnational and trans-regional impact of that revered martyr, as well as his influence on the Arab worldview and the consolidation of the anti-Zionist resistance discourse in West Asia... has become more evident," Abdollahi stated, noting that Nasrallah has been immortalized as a strategic doctrine and a symbol of Islamic unity.
The Iranian commander praised Nasrallah as the "architect of modern resistance" and the "legislator of the resistance battlefield," stating he proved that true power stems from the unbreakable bond between nations and their ideals, rather than military arsenals.
"Seyed Hassan Nasrallah established a new doctrine in crisis management and battlefield leadership that guaranteed the unity of the resistance fronts while maintaining the operational independence of each," he added.
"The Zionist-American enemy assumed that by physically eliminating the Master of Resistance, the pillar of the resistance's tent would collapse. However, the enemy's calculations failed once again in the face of divine will and the regional nations' solidarity and devotion to the historic resistance," Abdollahi noted.
He emphasized that, particularly following the second and third imposed wars, the strategic miscalculations of Washington and Tel Aviv have been entirely exposed. "The Resistance front has not only avoided weakening but has achieved both overt and covert strategic integration, with the path of Seyed Nasrallah continuing with utmost resolve across Lebanon, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, and throughout the geography of resistance."
The General paid tribute to Nasrallah, his martyred companions including Seyed Hashem Safieddine and IRGC Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan, and the current Hezbollah leader, Sheikh Naim Qassem.
He concluded by firmly asserting: "Under the guidance of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and Commander-in-Chief Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, alongside the mujahideen and fighters of the Islamic Resistance, stand in full readiness to deliver a decisive and devastating response to any threat against the Islamic Ummah."
