Public anger across Italy continues to swell as communities mobilize against, what protesters describe as, the normalization of Israeli aggression through “Zionist tourism.”

Following the visit to Italy by the leader of the Mojahedin-e Khalq (MEK), a designated terrorist organization, and the warm reception she received from several Italian politicians and members of parliament, the Families of Iranian Victim of Terrorism have sent an open letter of protest to the country’s judicial authorities as well as the Presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani held a telephone conversation on Wednesday to discuss the recent regional and international developments.

Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani has said his country is committed to resumption of Iran and US talks on the nuclear case, adding that "We have also suggested Rome as the location for possible negotiations."
