Ghalibaf: Iranian Nation Will Never Compromise on Territorial Integrity
Tehran - BORNA - Addressing an open session of the Iranian Parliament on Wednesday, October 8, Ghalibaf said: “We strongly condemn the baseless and meddlesome claims raised in the joint communiqué of the GCC and EU foreign ministers — including the repeated and hollow assertion regarding the three Persian Gulf islands of Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb, and Abu Musa, which are eternally Iranian.”
He emphasized that the territorial integrity of Iran has been “signed and sealed with the blood of hundreds of thousands of brave young Iranians,” adding: “The Iranian nation will never compromise, not even slightly, with any delusional actor on this issue.”
“Israel Has Become the Most Detested Regime in the World”
The Parliament Speaker also referred to the second anniversary of the Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, saying that the heroic operation carried out by the Palestinian resistance under the leadership of Hamas not only dealt a strategic and technical blow to the Zionist regime, but also “upended the global power equations and plunged Israel into a swamp of defeat.”
“Although, since then, the occupying regime — with the shameless support of the United States — has martyred tens of thousands of Palestinians, slaughtered civilians, turned Gaza into ruins, and assassinated figures such as Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, Ismail Haniyeh, and Yahya Sinwar, the resistance front in Palestine, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran’s people, through patience and endurance, have brought the region to a point where Israel has become the most detested regime in the world,” Ghalibaf said.
He noted that Zionists across the world “have lost their peace of mind out of fear of public backlash,” while optimism among the settlers regarding “security, economy, and social cohesion has fallen to a critical one-third level.”
Official statistics, he said, now show that reverse migration from occupied Palestine has tripled compared to immigration into the territories.
“Hamas Is Imposing Its Terms on Israel”
“Hamas has not been eliminated; on the contrary, it is imposing its demands on Israel,” Ghalibaf stressed. “The regime has turned from a normalizing force into the main source of instability in the region. Hezbollah of Lebanon, after defeating the Israeli army and maintaining its military power, has deprived the regime’s army of sleep, while the Yemeni resistance prevents peace in the occupied ports and airports. Two years after Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, the Zionist regime faces a crisis of existence.”
He added: “No matter how much Netanyahu tries to hide this crisis through psychological operations, he cannot cover the truth — the sun of reality cannot be obscured by dust.”
Ghalibaf praised the “power and valor” of resistance movements across the region:
“We honor the courage of our brothers in Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and the resistance forces throughout the region — in Yemen, Iraq, and beyond. The geography of resistance today stretches not only from Gaza, Sana’a, and Beirut, but to Sydney, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, London, Amsterdam, Toronto, and even American universities. Global boycott campaigns against the Zionist regime have become widespread, and the Sumud flotilla represents a proud global manifestation of this resistance.”
“Operation Al-Aqsa Storm Shattered Israel’s Myth of Invincibility”
“The Al-Aqsa Storm operation did not only break Israel’s military supremacy; it also accelerated the world’s shift toward de-Americanization and support for the oppressed, while dealing a fatal blow to the project of normalization with the Zionist regime,” he declared.
The Parliament Speaker reaffirmed that the Islamic Consultative Assembly (Iranian Parliament), on behalf of the justice-seeking Iranian people, emphasizes comprehensive support for Palestine and urges international bodies to prosecute the war crimes of the Zionist regime.
“We salute the souls of the martyrs of the Al-Aqsa Storm, including the leaders of Hamas and Hezbollah, and we pledge that we will stand by the resistance until the complete liberation of Al-Quds,” Ghalibaf concluded.
