Iran's trio islands

The Iranian government has designated the anniversary of the British withdrawal from Abu Musa, Greater Tunb, and Lesser Tunb as the Persian Gulf Trio Islands National Day.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf strongly condemned the “baseless and interventionist claims” made in the joint statement of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the European Union, stressing that the Iranian nation “will not show the slightest tolerance toward any delusional party” when it comes to defending the country’s territorial integrity.

Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei firmly dismissed the baseless allegations raised in the joint statement of the PGCC-UK foreign ministers’ meeting regarding the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran has issued a statement in response to the claims made by PGCC over Iran's trio islands in the Persian Gulf and Arash gas field.
