Iran warns US over harassment of Iranian vessels, naval blockade
Iran has warned the United States that continued harassment of Iranian vessels and the naval blockade against the country could prompt heavier and potentially broader strikes against US military vessels in the region.
Tehran - BORNA - Lt. Col. Ebrahim Zolfaghari, spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, issued the warning in a statement.
“The terrorist US military is warned that if its hostile actions, creation of insecurity, harassment of Iranian vessels and naval blockade of Iran continue, strikes by the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against US military vessels in the region will be more severe than before and could also expand,” Zolfaghari said.
