Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani departed for Iraq today (Monday) on his first official trip in this capacity.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has appointed Ali Larijani , the newly named secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), as his representative in the top security body.

Ali Larijani has become the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) at the order of President Masoud Pezhakian.
