IAEA chief, Egyptian FM discuss Iran’s nuclear program
Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi and Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a telephone conversation on Tuesday to discuss Iran’s nuclear file.
Tehran - BORNA - During the phone call, the two sides explored avenues for strengthening cooperation between Egypt and IAEA as well as recent developments related to Iran’s nuclear file.
Egypt’s top diplomat emphasized his country’s commitment to continuing coordination and cooperation with the UN Nuclear Watchdog on relevant issues.
Abdelatty pointed to the importance of continuing ongoing efforts to build trust and create the necessary conditions for continued cooperation between Iran and IAEA, which would create an opportunity to achieve diplomatic solutions, resume dialogue, and achieve a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue.
