Israeli Media: Iran’s New Missile Cuts Warning Time to One Minute
Tehran - BORNA - Israel’s Channel 14 reported that investigations indicate the reduced warning time for Iranian missile attacks on the occupied territories is linked to damage to American radar systems. The damage has disrupted the process of detecting and tracking missiles in time.
Other Hebrew-language media outlets also acknowledged that warning sirens now sound only about one minute before missiles strike. Previously, Israel’s Israeli Home Front Command would typically detect and announce missiles launched from Iran about eight to ten minutes before impact.
In addition, Israeli media revealed that Iran recently launched a test missile capable of evading monitoring systems. According to the reports, the systems were only able to detect the missile once it had entered the atmosphere, at a stage when it was already very close to reaching its target.
