Iran’s Envoy: Strategic Partnership with Russia Maps Out Future Roadmap
Kazem Jalali, Iran's Ambassador to Moscow, has described the developing relationship between Tehran and Moscow as a transition toward a "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership" designed to secure the long-term interests of both nations.

Tehran - BORNA - Coinciding with the second day of Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi’s official visit to Moscow, Jalali shared a message on his social media account titled "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Treaty: Mapping the Future Roadmap." He emphasized that while the ties between Iran and Russia possess deep historical roots, the current era is distinguished by moving beyond mere neighborhood or tactical interactions.

The ambassador analyzed Foreign Minister Araghchi's diplomatic mission to Russia within this strategic framework, noting that both countries are actively advancing toward an integrated partnership. According to Jalali, this level of cooperation is intended to guarantee the enduring interests of both governments and their citizens.

Jalali further noted that in today’s rapidly evolving global landscape, understanding this partnership is not merely a political discussion but is, in fact, the key to maintaining stability and fostering development throughout the region.
