Trump’s approval rating plunges to historic low as Americans reject war of aggression against Iran
Tehran - BORNA - The four-day survey, which concluded on Monday, found that only one-third of respondents approved of Trump’s performance in the White House, while a decisive 64 percent disapproved. An astonishing 80 percent of Americans, including 87 percent of Democrats and even 71 percent of Republicans, believe US involvement in the conflict with Iran “will go on for an extended period of time.” Just 16 percent still cling to the hope that the war could end within a few weeks.

While Trump repeatedly claimed the conflict would be swift, the Iranian nation has stood firm, foiling the enemy’s designs and exposing the emptiness of Washington’s threats.

As the American public increasingly turns against the war of aggression, the Islamic Republic continues to draw strength from the patience, solidarity and unwavering resolve of its people.
The United States and Israel launched their illegal war of aggression against Iran on February 28 by assassinating the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, along with senior military commanders.
Forty days later, on April 8, the enemies were forced to accept a ceasefire amid Iran’s resistance, decisive retaliatory operations, and a powerful grip on the Strait of Hormuz.
