Pezeshkian: We Emphasize Constructive Dialogue but Will Never Be Forced to Surrender
President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that Iran is not seeking war and has always emphasized constructive dialogue and engagement, asserting that any attempt to impose will or force Iran into surrender is doomed to failure and will never be accepted by the nation.

Tehran - BORNA - As part of his continued supervisory visits to executive bodies, President Pezeshkian made an unannounced visit to various departments of the Tehran Province Emergency Services Organization to closely observe the service delivery process, operational readiness, and specialized capacities of the center.

During the visit, the President received specialized reports from the head of the Tehran Emergency Services and operational commanders, reviewing the performance of emergency aid provided to the injured under wartime conditions and praising the continuous efforts of the rescue forces.

Pezeshkian described the record of the Emergency Services—particularly during the military aggression by the United States and the Israeli regime against Iran—as "brilliant," identifying the institution as a key pillar of national crisis management and a guarantor of essential services under difficult circumstances.

Continuing his visit, the President met with the staff to discuss challenges and needs in the field. Expressing gratitude for their commitment, he stated: "Field assessments show that no gaps were felt in emergency service delivery during the war, and the people did not face shortages in receiving urgent medical services. Achieving such a level of service is a significant and remarkable accomplishment."

He emphasized the importance of the constant presence of emergency personnel on operational scenes, adding: "This level of readiness, sacrifice, and effective presence is a valuable asset for the country. The continuity of this spirit among the people and officials will strengthen national authority, and under such conditions, no power will be able to bring this nation to its knees."

Referring to Iran’s principled positions despite the aggression by the U.S. and the Israeli regime, Pezeshkian clarified: "Iran is not seeking war or instability and has always emphasized dialogue and constructive interaction with different countries; however, any attempt to impose will or force the country into surrender is doomed to failure, and the Iranian nation will never accept such an approach."

The President criticized the double standards in the international system, evaluating any military action against other countries as contrary to accepted global principles. He questioned: "Under what authorization and for what crime has our country been attacked? What justification do targeting civilians, elites, children, and destroying vital centers including schools and hospitals have within the framework of international law and human principles?"

He also emphasized the necessity of maintaining national cohesion, stating: "The unique and exemplary unity of the people during the 40-day resistance disappointed the enemies in achieving their sinister goals. It is expected that all those who care for the country, realizing their historical responsibility, move toward strengthening unity and supporting national interests."
