IRGC Targets U.S. Bases and Interests in Persian Gulf and Occupied Territories
Tehran - BORNA -The statement from the IRGC Public Relations Department reads as follows:
"Since the early hours of this morning, the Naval and Aerospace Forces of the IRGC, in Wave 99 of Operation True Promise 4—with the holy code 'Ya Fatimah al-Zahra (SA)' and dedicated to the Jewish and Christian martyrs of the imposed wars—launched a combined operation in response to the enemy's crimes in attacking the Assaluyeh petrochemical plants and its facilities. The operation targeted U.S. bases and interests in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, as well as military assembly centers and command-and-control sites in the occupied Palestinian territories with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and offensive drones.
In the first phase of the attacks, major petrochemical complexes belonging to American companies—Sadra, ExxonMobil, and Dow Chemical located in the Al Jubail region of Saudi Arabia, and the large petrochemical complex of the American company Chevron Phillips based in Al Ju'aymah, Saudi Arabia—were effectively targeted by medium-range missiles and several suicide drones.
An Israeli-owned container ship, tasked with transporting military equipment to the Zionist regime via the Khor Fakkan port in the UAE (to bypass the Strait of Hormuz by land), was precisely struck by the warriors of Islam following an intelligence operation. The destruction of this ship serves as a warning to all vessels collaborating with the Zionist regime and the United States in any capacity.
Furthermore, the position of the U.S. terrorist aircraft carrier strike group 'CVN 72' (USS Abraham Lincoln) in the depths of the Indian Ocean was targeted using long-range naval cruise missiles.
The unwise leaders of America, who have sacrificed all their interests for the Zionists, lack even the power to calculate which of their vital assets are within the crosshairs of our warriors in response to attacks on our infrastructure.
The IRGC once again declares that if the U.S. terrorist army crosses red lines, our response will extend beyond the region. We have not been, and will not be, the initiators of attacks on civilian targets; however, we will not hesitate to retaliate against vile aggressions on civilian facilities.
We will deal with the infrastructure of the United States and its partners in such a way that the U.S. and its allies will be deprived of the region's oil and gas for years to come. U.S. regional partners should also know that while we have exercised great restraint until today due to the principle of good neighborliness, all such considerations have now been lifted."
