Judiciary Responds to Trump’s Claims Regarding Stay of Execution for 8 Women
Tehran - BORNA - Citing the Judiciary Media Center, the statement is as follows:
"Last night, Donald Trump, citing a completely false report, called on Iran to revoke the death sentences of eight women.
Trump made this claim while investigations show the assertion is entirely false. Some of the individuals mentioned have already been released, while others face charges that, if confirmed by the court, would result in prison sentences at most. Ultimately, none of these individuals have a definitive verdict involving the death penalty.
Despite the fact that the falsehood of last night's claim has been exposed, Trump recently claimed in another post that the execution of eight protesting women, which was supposedly scheduled for tonight, has been canceled—and he thanked Iran!
As previously stated, none of these women were facing execution for there to be any sentence to revoke. Trump’s empty hands on the field have pushed him toward fabricating achievements from fake news.
It is worth noting that Michael Wolff, Donald Trump’s biographer and author of the bestsellers Fire and Fury and Siege, warned in a recent episode of the 'Inside Trump’s Head' podcast that the U.S. President’s cognitive and psychological decline is becoming a 'national emergency.' Wolff stated in the podcast that the White House and the President should no longer be viewed as a 'rational institution.'"
